Information on how to access our services are found from the front page of our website however here is a summary of the important points!
The Practice has two branches, Kirkliston and Winchburgh serving around 11,000 patients. You may be seen at either branch. This economy of scale means we are able to offer you more appointments and a greater breadth of services.
OPENING HOURS
The Practice is open from 08.00 – 18.00 Monday – Friday with some telephone appointments available from 07.30 and up to 18.30. The practice closes every Wednesday and Thursday between 13.00 – 14.00 for staff training

ELECTRONIC REVIEWs (EREVIEWS)
The practice has an eReview system for some medication and conditions. The eReviews as sent as a text link to your phone and enables you to tell us how you are getting on without you having to book an appointment and come and see us. It is convenient for you and it helps the practice save appointments for more serious or urgent problems. Please help us offer the most appointments we can by completing our eReviews. If you do not want to then please simply phone the practice and book and appointment as usual instead.
COMMUNITY NURSING TEAM
District Nurses, Health Visitors and Midwives are based at South Queensferry and the Strathbrock Community Centre.
OUT OF HOURS
Medical cover for patients registered with the practice during evenings, weekends and bank holidays is provided by NHS 24 and can be contacted by phoning on 111. When calling NHS 24 you may receive advice over the telephone, you may be asked to attend and appointment with a doctor or nurse at one of the hospitals or you may receive a home visit.
TEST RESULTS
The Practice has an electronic system for dealing with test results. You will be contacted by a member of the Reception team if the doctor has requested any further action. Please therefore ensure that we have up-to-date contact telephone details for you. If the result is normal, you will not be contacted. If you wish to enquire about the results of tests, please telephone between 12.00 and 4.00 pm Monday-Friday.

DISABLED ACCESS
Both of our buildings are equipped to cater for disabled patients. Facilities include automatic doors, low Reception desk and wheelchair-accessible toilets.
