Sleeping problems (Insomnia)

​Sleepio is an online programme to help those with insomnia. The private app is paid for by NHS lothian and has been proven to be effective in improving sleep. It is a structured programme taking place over 6 weeks.


Sleep Scotland supports children, young people, and their families to have healthy sleep. Their trained sleep counsellors provide help for parents, carers and other family members, offering advice and support on good sleep practices for all children aged over 18 months living in Scotland.


Help get a better sleep with NHS Lothian’s resources for better sleep including sleep hygiene and general advice.


Sleeping Tablets

No longer recommended for sleep due to their potential for addiction. They also stop working the longer you take them.
